This ascent takes a shorter route, starting at 2 a.m. through the Pasar Agung Temple. It takes around 3-4 hours to reach the crater peak of Mount Agung. The hike begins through the forest and steep rocky paths towards the volcano’s summit. The scenery around the volcano is simply perfect, making the journey incredibly rewarding.
